What is AFITB, EXACTLY?

"A Feather in the Blood" is a Rammstein slash fan fiction group on Yahoo. The addie is http://groups.yahoo.com/group/afeatherintheblood/ .  It was started by myself, Cyndiana, and my ever-faithful Moderator, Valis.  Here one (once they have become a member) can submit Rammstein slash fanfic stories, Rammstein-related fanart, comic fanart, captioned pics, articles (written by the member themselves, not from other publications), essays, poetry, and so on, and so forth.  Pretty much, so long as it is Rammstein related (and if a fic, NOT het-fic!) it can be put SOMEWHERE on the group site.  We love, respect, and adore Rammstein, and anything posted on the group site, or sent via the mailing list, is done so out of said admiration.  Also, ANYTHING posted to the group site, or sent via the mailing list, are works of fiction, not intended in ANY WAY as statements of fact.  Unless there is a blatant and clear explanation that it IS fact, it isn't.  For the most part, it won't be fact, it will be fiction, since this IS a Rammstein slash fanFICTION site.

Why did AFITB come to be?

Myself and Valis wanted to be a part of a ML that was focused on sharing and enjoying the fact that they were Rammstein fans with a shared love for Rammstein, and slash fiction, and "A Feather in the Blood" was born. Our list is built upon the tenet that Rammstein slash fanfic is the craft of all writers, of many differing skills, and should be approached accordingly.  If you don't have a beta-reader (someone who reads your fics and proofreads/edits them before you post them) this doesn't mean you shouldn't be able to share your work with the masses.  You can edit your work as well as anyone else could.  Don't worry if you don't have a beta reader: We welcome all, beta or not.  Also, we are all about CONSTRUCTIVE as oppsed to DESTRUCTIVE criticism.  No fic is EVER all bad, and no one's is perfect...All fics could use a bit of work in someone's eyes.  Our list was built on the belief that fics should be an enjoyment and we uphold a sense of community and fun. You are free to write and enjoy the many fics we have to offer and learn and grow with the help of its members.
