When is International Rammstein Slash FanFiction Day?

It is held (annually, beginning 2004) on November 30th.  Why November 30th, you ask?  Ok, you didn't ask, but I shall tell you nonetheless...We took a cue from our boys themselves...You see, the day they released Mutter for worldwide release, they called it "Mutter's Day".  We are tying IRSFFDay in with Thanksgiving...You know?  Celebrating something to be TRULY thankful for, Rammstein and their slashiness!  Oh yeah, and I'm off work November 30th, so I can truly enjoy the holiday...

What is IRSFFDay?

It is a day set aside for the world to reflect on Rammstein, their music, and the GOBS of slash fanfic written about them.  Some ways you can celebrate IRSFFDay?

• Write your own Rammstein slash fic
• Read your favorite Rammstein slash fic(s)
• Fantasize at least 1 hour (if not MORE!) about your favorite slash pairing...you know..."doin' it!"
• Bake a cake (Black Forest cake, mayhaps?)
• Make a t-shirt and wear it proudly (or wear your fave Rammstein t-shirt)
• Listen to all of your favorite Rammstein songs, and look for secret, hidden, slashy messages (e.g. Is Richard the "bruderlein" in "Spiel Mit Mir"? Hmmm...)
• Announce to all whom you meet, "Happy International Rammstein Slash Fan Fiction Day!" *smile*
• Call out at irregular intervals your favorite bits of Rammstein lyrics (might I suggest, "Ich will ficken!" (toss-up to Rachel!  Lubs ya girlie!), "Tiefer, tiefer!", "Du Riechst So Gut!", and/or "Spiel Mit Mir!" for starters?)
• Give yourself (or a fellow R+ fan) a bouquet of those neon-colored dyed mums that are reminiscent of the cover of Herzeleid.
• Wear a Rammstein related costume all day (relating to themselves, a photo of them, or one of their videos).  Some examples?  Snow White, a dog, that god-awful gold lame jogging suit of your dead aunt's, your older brother's cheesy red vinyl car seat covers, tin foil (or al-oo-min-ee-um as the Brits say!), a wifebeater and roll around in your fireplace soot (without a fire burning in it, PLEASE!).  The options are ENDLESS!

• Or any other way you can think of that is Rammstein, or Rammstein slash fanfic related (even if it is a stretch!).

Where did IRSFFDay come from?

It came from the minds of two very disturbed individuals-Myself and my Yahoo group moderator Valis.  I had noticed that anything of any importance had an official holiday, and very little is more important to me than Rammstein and reading/writing Rammstein slash fan fiction, so there you have it, IRSFFDay was born.  For the record, it began through the Yahoo Rammstein slash fan fic group, "A Feather in the Blood", the very group this site is affiliated with.  Just in case this becomes an issue later...Moving on...After picking a solid date we could agree on, this site and the holiday were born.

How is it an INTERNATIONAL holiday?

Quite simply...I, Cyndiana, reside in Texas, USA...My moderator Valis is in Canada...Thus, even if we alone celebrate IRSFFDay, it is still an international holiday.  So, stick that in your pipe and smoke it, smart ass! :-P
